2 weeks ago today Nana and Grandpa were still here, which was so nice!
2 weeks ago we also got our Christmas tree. Caleb was very excited to pick it out and bring it home!
It was suppertime, but Caleb wanted to see the lights, so the high chair moved to the living room!
Caleb only helped with a couple of ornaments and the rest we put on after he went to bed
Enjoying the finished product in his "Fristmas pajamas" (that's what it sounds like when he says it)
On December 1, we started a new tradition where I wrapped up 24 books and Caleb is opening one every morning when he wakes up and then we read it while he drinks his milk. He loves books, so this is a great tradition and he is enjoying it quite a bit! We also started the Elf on the Shelf and so Caleb looks forward to finding the elf every morning. We named him Diamond since Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star is one of Caleb's favorite songs. I tried to go for Twinkle, but Caleb insisted on Diamond.
Notice Diamond up on the cup and saucer rack

Reading one of his new books with Daddy
Last weekend was Night in Bethlehem at our church. We didn't volunteer to help out with anything (besides donating some supplies) but we showed our support by going on Saturday night. I think Caleb liked it but he is still a little young to understand what is going on.
David & Yully were Joseph & Mary on this night
Love this picture!
Playing a shepherd in Sabbath School
Love this smile! He loves playing the piano with Grampy in church every week.
On Sunday Steve left for Illinois for a few days, so of course Caleb and I went and stayed with my parents on Sunday and Monday night.
Reading Tiny Moo at Grammy & Grampy's house
Monday was our last "Miss Lori's" class until after Christmas. Caleb loves it so much!
It is fun to see all of the kids get involved.
Caleb and Miss Lori
Caleb wanted to give his friend Grace a hug and kiss - she wasn't interested!
On Tuesday we had Caleb's 2-year doctor's appointment. His stats are:
Weight: 28 lb, 4 oz (52nd percentile)
Height: 36 inches (90th percentile)
Everything checked out great and the doctor was extremely impressed with Caleb's talking and said that he was talking on the level of a 3-year old. I was pretty proud of that! And all he was doing is talking normally. He wasn't singing his ABC's, counting to 10 or doing his colors or shapes, which I also think is pretty advanced.
I don't post videos on here, but I should post one this week. Every night when we have worship, we sing with Caleb. Usually Happy, Happy Home or Only a Boy Named David. When we sing about David, Caleb usually sings the part about round and round. However, all of a sudden the other night, he started singing the entire song. So, the next night we did it again and videoed it and it is so cute! He literally sang the whole song. Sorry I don't have the video. Some of you will just have to see it in person, I guess.
I didn't take too many pictures this week, I guess. The last pictures I have are from this morning at Sabbath School.
We are doing some Christmasy things tonight and tomorrow night, so I should have more and better pictures next time I write! Who knows when that will be, though? Until then!
