100th Post!

Well, apparently this is my 100th post, so that is quite a milestone! I admit that I do not always like writing the blog, but I am happy for the few of you that enjoy reading it, and I know that I will be happy to have it to look back on years from now. Who knows if I will be able to keep it up after I have 2 kids, but hopefully I will! It might just be more abbreviated.

2 Sabbaths ago we went on a nice walk with the church. It was supposed to be a daffodil walk, but unfortunately, there weren't too many daffodils out yet, so that didn't work out too well, but we still had fun.

Our pastor's son, Luka, was trying to hold Caleb, but he is about 31 pounds and is quite heavy to carry!

The girls found a bouquet of flowers probably left behind by a bridal party or something so we thought it would be funny to put Caleb in the picture with all the girls.

Then on Sunday we celebrated my mother's birthday by going to Heritage Plantation and then out to supper. It was a nice day, but a little cool, but we still had a fun time. Levi got to go on his first carousel ride, and he did great!

On Monday, we were actually supposed to go back to Heritage with Heidi and Grace, but it was not a nice day, so we just went to Gymport instead and the kids had fun.

I don't even remember what we did the rest of last week. We didn't have our play group or music class because it was school vacation week. Oh, Steve stayed home sick on Thursday, but he just had a cold, so he was mostly ok and he ended up painting most of the day in Kaitlyn's room, so that was some good progress made. He should be done with the painting tomorrow, which is exciting!

We will just skip ahead to last Sabbath since I don't remember much about the week. It wasn't a super nice day, so we decided to skip the church walk and go to a church close to our house that has a really nice daffodil garden in the back. It is not a very big area, so we didn't spend too long there, but we saw a lot of nice daffodils.

We didn't do too much on Sunday. I worked most of the day and then I think we just went to get some groceries and that's about it.

Monday we had our play group at the preschool, but I didn't take any pictures! Caleb had a good time and he always asks to go back, which is good.

On Tuesday we had music class and it was a cool, gloomy day in the morning but by the afternoon it was beautiful out. In the afternoon we went to get a 3D ultrasound, just for fun. It was really cool to see everything. We got confirmation that she is definitely a girl, so that is good since you can't always be quite sure when it's a girl! She was moving around a lot and was sucking her thumb and yawning and even opening her eyes. We had a much better experience than when we did it with Caleb. He pretty much stayed asleep the whole time so we didn't get great pictures of him. Here are a couple of the pictures we got. I know they look a little creepy, but I think they are also so amazing!

If someone showed me this picture, I would think that it was Caleb, so maybe she will look like him!

On Wednesday, Caleb was with Grammy but Grammy had hurt her back, so they had a quiet day and didn't go anywhere.

Afternoon tea with Grammy

On Thursday we went to Heritage with Heidi and Grace. Again, it started out kinda cool and cloudy but after we had been there about an hour, the sun came out and it was gorgeous! There weren't a lot of other people there, so we had the carousel to ourselves and had a great time playing in Hidden Hollow.

Yesterday Caleb and Grammy had a busy morning making bread and getting ready for company last night for supper.

We had a nice supper at my parents' house last night with the Piroski family. Pastor John's mother who has been visiting for several months from Croatia is going back home on Tuesday, so we wanted to have a meal with her before she left. It was nice to spend time with them.

Well, that's about it. I have to go get Caleb out of his crib since he is not napping. He is napping most days but occasionally not and Sabbath is always a tough day because he doesn't have a lot of activity before naptime. It is frustrating when he doesn't nap, but at least he will stay in his crib for awhile even if he is not asleep.

Here are a few more pictures from the last couple of weeks.
